Tickets will go on sale soon at CHMS for $30 ahead of time, $35 at the door.

Join us in support for our annual Dash for the Future Fun Run/Walk!

Share in the fun and excitement experienced by the students, and help them with your financial support as they strive to reach their fundraising goals in a positive and healthy way!

It’s worth every penny to see the joy on the children’s faces, as they work together to meet (and exceed) their goals. The children challenge themselves, and we encourage you to show your support by donating whatever amount you are comfortable with.

All donations go to support the students through the acquisition of new classroom equipment, educational resources and the professional development of teachers at the school. Additional information on Dash For The Future page.

As CHMS continues to make improvements that enhance our children’s educational experience, including physical plant changes in the Toddler Rooms and Middle School, and the adding new teachers in the Middle School, the mission of Friends of Montessori is as important as ever.

We are looking forward to sponsoring events throughout the year that will strengthen and entertain our community, while raising critically important funds to support the school.

Our first event is School Clean-Up Day, Saturday August 18th, starting at 8 am. There will be many projects including weeding, spreading mulch, painting and carpentry. Our kids are some of our best helpers, and we encourage having them be a part of this day. It is a great chance to catch up after the summer, or meet families and teachers for the first time. Families are encouraged to bring wheelbarrows, hammers, rakes and shovels. Friends of Montessori will provide refreshments. We should finish up by about noon.

Friday, September 7th at 5:30 pm CHMS will sponsor the Family Potluck Picnic. Friends of Montessori will have a brief ANNUAL MEETING to present our goals for the year and opportunities for families to volunteer for CHMS and/or Friends of Montessori.

The New Family Breakfast is Saturday, September 29th, at 9:30 am at CHMS. FOM will be preparing the meal, and the teachers will all introduce themselves. It is a wonderful opportunity for new families to talk to the teachers, and meet the other newcomers to our community.
